What are the Black Kite style options?
The premier collection has four different styles... long sleeve, short sleeve, a roll sleeve with button tabs and a nehru collar with long sleeves.
Where do you find your inspiration?
I keep an eye out for bold colors, shapes and designs around me and find inspiration everywhere from the toys piled up in a sandbox to the painted elephants in the deserts of Rajasthan.
How do you select your fabrics?
I love fabrics so naturally I keep tabs on all types of sources. The fabrics chosen need to exude a strong personality with vibrant colors and unpredictable design plus it must be made of high quality cotton. I want to ensure that the boys who wear each shirt are comfortable and feel proud.

How do I submit an idea for a pocket tag?
Great question! We'd love to hear what you'd like your boy to carry close to his chest. Email us your inspirational suggestion at info@blackkiteshop.com.
Once I order online, what's the turn-around time?
1 week to 2 weeks... tops!
And, the return/exchange policy?
Because of the limited-run nature of our business, unworn items may be returned within 30 days, no questions-asked, for store credit but after that... you're on your own. Quick note for returned items, please include the invoice and send using a tracker. Black Kite will not be responsible for any returned packages lost or damaged by the shipping company.
How often will you come out with a new shirt?
For now, we'll roll out new designs twice a year (spring/summer and fall/winter) but if I come across a fabric I can't live without, I may just pop a new design out there from time to time. The best way to stay posted on new products is to be a Black Kite amigo on Facebook and Twitter
